Celebrated the birthday of a dear friend who was turning the big 3-0 with lunch at the Toowoomba City Golf Club. Voted Best Golf Club, Venue & Facility 3 years running & with expansive views of the green & delicious menu on offer, it was the perfect place to commemorate such a milestone with loved ones both near & far.
For such an occasion, it just HAD to be Anthea & this lipstick-coloured textured pique dress with 1940s style bateau neckline & stunning waist fold detail was the perfect choice - even inadvertently matching the decorations! Once again, black accessories anchored the look, with a vintage-style pair of black patent t-bar platform sandals & a small black patent handbag, painted on the side with a kitschy picture of a house & garden complete with white pussycat. Aside from my silver hinged bangle, the touch of whimsy extended to the jewellery in the form of beaded bracelets with a myriad of little charms including dresses on coat hangers, a stiletto heel, a resin heart & a pearl with a bow. See below for greater detail:
Well, all that's left to say is
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIRANDAH!
May all your birthday wishes come true!
