Finally sharing all of the beautiful pictures from my recent birthday celebrations, starting with a day spent opening thoughtful gifts, pottering around at home eating a specially-made condensed milk tart & playing board/parlour games (both old & new) with family before heading over to my brother & sister-in-law's place for a delicious dinner of takeaway Oishii Sushi Bar on the verandah in the cool air. For the day, I donned a stunning indigo denim smock dress with puff sleeves, fluted hemline & high neck with white embroidered trim from celebrated Australian designer Zimmermann, a pair of white leather pointy-toed mules with wooden stacked heels from Country Road & a gold cuff with white & blue painted ceramic disc from the artisan boutique section of Cafe D'Bar at Coolangatta that I bought many years ago while on summer holidays.

Pottering around & adding finishing touches to the "Mouse House," my refurbished & repainted childhood dollhouse (made especially for me to match my bedroom furniture by an old man called Mr Cuff so totally bespoke) that I've filled with all manner of delightful furnishings & creatures from cult Danish brand Maileg & the wonderful random "miniatures" sellers of online emporium Etsy...
Taking a trip down memory lane, playing one of our most beloved childhood board games "13 Dead End Drive" under the pergola in the morning sunshine...
A plethora of gorgeous gifts...
Another round of games - this time my new obsession, "Agatha Christie Bingo" - in the late afternoon, accompanied by a piping hot cup of tea...

Dressed & ready to head out for a family dinner celebration wearing a funky white lace 1960s inspired mini dress with ruffled neckline & mutton sleeves from Sheike with black underwear beneath for contrast, a pair of black matte leather heeled ankle boots from Wittner for a modicum of height, a vintage flower beaded handbag with black resin clasp from the recent Vintage & Antique Fair with faux pearl bag strap from Hummingbird the Shop & finally, an art deco inspired resin brooch (a thoughtful birthday gift) to complete the look.
