Avid readers of this blog will already know how much I absolutely adore wearing gingham - any colour, any check size, any fabric - & this stunning red & white "picnic blanket" cotton empire-line midi dress with tiered hemline & white organza tie straps from whimsical British label Sister Jane does not disappoint! I've styled it up for a morning spent in the Queensland sunshine at a local park & cafe with a pair of blue leather heeled sandals with bow from a brand called Isabella that I discovered at Tides Boutique in Burleigh Heads last holiday, a natural woven straw bucket bag with diamantes from the delightful Oh Jo Jo Boutique to carry all the essentials, a boho-style turned wood bangle from Ember & Twine & finally, a kitschy pair of red plastic cat's eye sunglasses from Vintage Advantage at the "top of town" in Ipswich.
