Posting some pictures of the ensemble I styled up for a day spent at the Psychic Expo with some friends from my Meditation Class. The "hero" (or main part) of the look was an amazing, three-quarter-sleeved vintage kaftan made from a vibrant, multi-coloured silk/cotton fabric with an abstract checked pattern & stunning embroidery & sequin details.
Rather than anchoring such a vivid outfit with heavy, black accessories, I decided on more of a "hippie" vibe with a pair of grey suede wedges from Blue Illusion - dubbed "fairy shoes" due to the silver & rose gold studs on the toes - as well as a Tree of Life shoulder bag made from patchwork pieces of Indian sari fabric, seen in "flatlay" form below:
Once again, the unpredictable Queensland Winter weather meant a further "layering" garment was required, this time a fringed, rayon "Omkara" script scarf - also from Tree of Life - wrapped loosely around my neck for a further "boho" touch.
Finishing the eclectic look was my new pair of beaded cuffs, found at one of the little market stalls at the recent EKKA. They are completely handmade & totally unique, which I adore! Scroll down to check them out in detail:
