After spending a wonderful day with a dear friend up on Tamborine Mountain - one of our all-time favourite "cold weather" haunts - I decided to head back a few days later with the family to enjoy some delicious fare at the Mount Tamborine Winery & further explore the many eclectic boutiques & antique shops lining the famed Gallery Walk.
As usual, scroll down to see how the day unfolded & of course, what I wore...

Nonchalantly posing by the "castle wall" (actually the facade for a store specialising in liqueurs) in a fit-to-flare dress from Anthea Crawford with black velour bodice & baroque jacquard skirt with tulle underlay in green; charcoal ribbed jersey long-line cardigan from Table Eight (now able to be purchased from Rockmans stores); comfortable, relatively flat black studded boots with elastic side details from Witchery; 40 denier tights from Razzamatazz to keep my legs warm & a vinyl tote bag from Basque at Myer to carry all my essentials... like another jacket, for example... Long-sleeved wintertime looks mean that jewellery is usually kept minimal, in this case a chunky bronze cocktail ring in the shape of a peony, studded with diamantes that a dear family friend gave me for Christmas last year & a handmade brushed silver "leaf" shaped ring sourced from Sea Wish Coolangatta.
