There's nothing like a bit of retail therapy in these bizarre & trying times... particularly if that retail therapy entails a leisurely browse around the toy store for a trip down memory lane. I'm hanging out in this haven for the young & young-at-heart wearing a gorgeous grey embroidered mesh lace empire-line dress with black satin lining from Taking Shape; a black knitted cardigan, cropped at the smallest part of my waist, from girly Aussie label Review; a pair of black leather & patent ankle boots with side zippers from Wittner & matching black leather handbag from funky little boutique Pigeonhole in the Wintergarden. As a finishing flourish, I've added a gorgeous handmade, painted ceramic magpie brooch that some dear friends gave me, knowing how much I absolutely adore the cheeky black & white birds.
