Finally sharing all of the gorgeous pictures from my sister-in-law's socially-distanced birthday celebration dinner a couple of weeks ago on a particularly rainy night in the River City. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, we eschewed the usual restaurant dinner in favour of a takeaway from one of our favourite Italian places, Marinara Restaurant in Hawthorne, washed down with ginger beer before opening presents & enjoying a slice of homemade orange cake topped with pieces of Terry's Chocolate Orange, rather than candles & a hot cup of tea. For the occasion, I'm wearing a gorgeous green & pink large-scale floral twill midi dress with fit-to-flare skirt from celebrated Kiwi designer Trelise Cooper, a vibrant pink knitted cardigan with rolled collar from Witchery to ward off the chill in the air & a pair of pointy-toed black suede mules with stacked heels from Wittner.
