These are the seasons of emotion
And like the winds they rise and fall
This is the wonder of devotion
I seek the torch we all must hold*

Loving all things bright & beautiful at the moment, particularly this stunning late 1960s/early 1970s bohemian-inspired slip dress from the inimitable Nine Lives Bazaar, made from the softest eco vero fabric, covered in the most divine floral print & with the sauciest little surprise front split that shows off my knees! I've styled it up for a day spent making some essential purchases at a local shopping centre with a pair of black vegan leather dual buckle heels from Kitten D'Amour, a black woven straw shoulder bag from my local Target store (purchased for the princely sum of $20... the best way to try out any on-trend items that you're not sure about committing to fully) to carry all the essentials, a vintage silver bangle from the sadly-now-defunct 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles in Coolangatta for a touch of daytime shine & a pair of gifted vintage carved & painted wood animal bangles in the shape of a tiger & a zebra respectively.

Scroll down for a little surprise where I've added a complimentary patterned, eco vero tie-front top with gorgeous fluted sleeves to the mix - also from Nine Lives Bazaar - to ward off the slight chill in the air from these late summer evenings where the air is punctuated with the sounds of Led Zeppelin's "Houses of Holy" playing on repeat on the turntable...
