Sharing all the pictures from my recent "Spooky Season" celebrations with a trip to the historic Ipswich General Cemetery, which many ghost hunters believe is haunted by a coterie of grim, grinning ghosts & spirits from times past. My great-grandparents & maternal grandparents have been laid to rest here & to be honest, in the daytime, I find it a rather peaceful place to visit. At nighttime, well... I can't really say because I'm yet to go on the ghost tour in this location but hope to when the weather cools down next year after an amazing time with the Toowong Cemetery tour group... On this trip, however, I got into the Halloween theme with a funky little (emphasis on the little; its practically a micro mini!) black dress made from soft & floaty plisse fabric with a wired neckline detail from Australian designer Aje, altered by me (with the help of my talented seamstress/alterations lady Desley) with the addition of monochrome spotted ribbon tie straps & styled up with a pair of monchrome vegan leather heels from Kitten D'Amour & a satin, resin, tulle & styrofoam skull headpiece from my local Fair Dinkum Bargains store to complete the look.
