If you're a long-time reader of this blog, you'll probably already know about one of my most cherished traditions - heading to the Ipswich Show every year with my mother to check out all the agricultural displays, arts & crafts, quilting, schoolwork, farm animals & birds, historical showcases & the bright lights & sounds of Sideshow Alley! This year, the weather was overcast & threatening rain in the morning but still warm enough to be without a jacket & I donned a funky & colourful mixed print linen/cotton jumpsuit with fitted waist from Australian label Gorman, styled up with a pair of white & tan leather deco-inspired sandals from Easy Steps that I picked up my local Myer department store, a bohemian-luxe green tie-dye linen crossbody bag with brown sun print from Tree of Life to carry all the essentials while keeping my hands free to explore & finally, a woven sunhat from Before Sundown to ward off the sun's harmful rays... when it began peeking out through the clouds around lunchtime, that is.

Scroll down to see how the day unfolded...

Piglet Racing was definitely a treat!

Nothing beats a burger & fries, washed down with a piping hot coffee...

Poffertjes for dessert!
