Truly embracing underrated colour combinations with this stunning ensemble - featuring chocolate brown & chartreuse green - for a day spent browsing around vintage stores with a dear friend. This gorgeous 1930s-inspired chocolate brown & off-white checked polyblend midi-length dress with corset waist detailing from my local Portmans store is "dressed down" ever-so-slightly to become smart casual (in the best way) with the addition of a pair of chunky chartreuse green leather sandals from a Melbourne label called Eos, discovered at the wonderful Obsession Shoes at the "top of town" in Ipswich, a vintage chocolate brown leather crossbody bag with silver hardware from Shop 76 at the Ipswich Antique Centre to carry all the essentials with a chartreuse silk bow clip from Lovisa attached for a touch of whimsy & a pop of colour to harmonise with the shoes, matching pearl & semi-precious stone beaded necklace & bracelet in shades of brown & cream, gifted by some dear friends & my favourite stack of vintage Mexican silver bangles for some daytime shine.
