Finally sharing all the glorious pictures of this look, worn to dance to some Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass, which I have loved since I was a child & my grandparents would play the records. I've styled up this amazing dark floral organza puff mini dress with grosgrain ribbon straps (added by me) from cult label Selkie with a pair of black vegan leather dual buckle heels from Kitten D'Amour (the ideal pair of vintage-inspired dancing shoes) & a boxy black vinyl & suede handbag with silver handles from French Connection to carry all the essentials. When it came to jewellery, I wore some favourites - a stack of vintage Mexican silver bangles that were given to me by some dear friends & a heavy vintage silver bangle from 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles that my younger brother gave me for my birthday one year. A slightly cooler morning then made it necessary to bring a scarf/wrap & I couldn't resist a bit of pattern mixing with my beautiful Monet print silk that I picked up at the "Monet in Paris" exhibition.

Flamenco

Bag: Gift, Nepalese brass
Hinged Bangles: Gift, brass, beads

Feeling festive in this bright ensemble that I styled up to attend a recent flamenco dance performance in the River City before stopping by Trammie's Corner in Paddington for these photographs & the amazing Sassafrass Cafe for a late brunch. I'm wearing a gorgeous leaf printed neoprene shift dress with asymmetrical shoulder ruffle from celebrated Aussie label Anthea Crawford, black leather sandals with wedge heels & brass zippers from Novo, vibrant hard-case brass handbag with chain strap from Nepal (generously gifted by my brother & sister-in-law) & a pair of chunky brass & beaded flower hinged bangles that some dear friends gifted me a few years ago.

Rainy Day Woman

Dress: H&M polyblend
Slip: Taking Shape elastane

After such a hot, dry summer season, I couldn't resist celebrating the fact that it was FINALLY raining with a little twirl around on our new wooden deck! I'm wearing a floral polyblend shirt dress from H&M that I picked up for an absolute bargain price (under $10) at the end of last year with a flesh-tone elastane slip underneath from Taking Shape for modesty purposes. Shirtdresses aren't usually my go-to silhouette but this one really took my fancy due to its voluminous, maxi skirt...
