Finally sharing all the beautiful pictures from a family meal at the delightful New Farm Deli celebrating my wonderful sister-in-law's birthday! For the occasion, I wore a floral matching set from French-inspired Australian label Blue Illusion - a stunning cotton peasant-style top with button-front, puff sleeves & self-tie belt & a pair of wide-leg palazzo pants with a flat front & elasticated back in a smooth satin crepe. To style them up for a smart-casual event, I donned a pair of matte leather pointy-toed booties from Wittner, a black matte leather & natural woven straw handbag from Witchery to carry all the essentials, a chunky handmade wooden bangle from the sweet little Ember & Twine boutique at the "top of town" in Ipswich & a stack of vintage Mexican silver bangles that were given to me by some dear friends.

For the occasion, I wore a gorgeous dark floral print super-soft rayon empire-line midi dress with short sleeves (tied up with bows) and ruching & shell buttons underneath the bustline from my local Tree of Life store, a vibrant red knitted cardigan with asymmetrical draped neckline & fringing by a label called Lilia that I discovered at Temptations Boutique at Winston Glades, black matte leather heeled ankle boots from Wittner for a modicum of height with the volume of the dress' skirt, black 40 denier nylon tights from Razzamatazz to keep my legs feeling toasty & a black vinyl shoulder bag from Sussan to carry all the essentials. When it came to jewellery, I chose some of my favourite silver pieces - a vintage bangle from 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles (formerly at Coolangatta) gifted by my younger brother & a stack of Mexican bangles (seven in all) that were given to me by some dear friends who live overseas - to complete the look & add a little daytime shine.
