Franny Gets Festive (part 1)

Finally sharing all of the pictures from the Penny Family festive celebrations for 2019 over the next few days in a three-part blog series. Scroll down to see what we did & what I wore...

Visiting some dear friends & posing by their divine swimming pool wearing a vibrant red stretch lace wiggle dress with asymmetrical ruffle & strap detailing from Sacha Drake, a pair of beige leather & elastic heeled sandals from Novo, a kitschy "Tiki Bar" vegan leather shoulder bag from Vendula London, a chunky vintage brass bangle from Empire Revival, thin brass bangle from my local Tree of Life store & delicate brass cuff with coloured tassels from (now defunct) The Robe at The Barracks.

There's nothing better than commemorating the special moments in life with dear friends... particularly if it's over delicious food in lush, green surroundings. I'm twirling around at Queens Park after celebrating both my birthday & Easter with long-time family friends (including my Goddaughter) over afternoon tea & sweet treats at the Kiosk wearing a stunning jungle-printed chiffon empire-line midi dress with handkerchief hemline & satin tie back detailing from Taking Shape, white leather pointy-toed mules from Country Road with matching white painted cane handbag from Renee Loves Frances' beautiful boutique in Bulimba, a jade bangle & bracelet from Shanghai to pick up on the myriad of green hues inherent in the print of the frock & finally, a silver cuff from Wallace Bishop for some daytime shine.

Scroll down to see more of the outfit, including the way it twirls in the autumn breeze...

Keep scrolling to see a few snippets from afternoon tea, including a cheeky snapshot of my darling Goddaughter, Tobin with her chocolate ice cream...
