Finally sharing all of the gorgeous pictures from a belated birthday celebration (thanks to Covid 19 & the various Queensland rain events, respectively) for our favourite six year old with presents to be opened, wishes to be made & cake to be eaten! For the occasion, I wore a gorgeous puff sleeve midi dress with empire-line waist & tiered hemline in a sweet white broderie cotton overlaid with a handpainted ditsy floral print from online emporium Asos' premium diffusion line Asos Edition & a pair of comfortable yet stylish tan leather pointy-toed mules from Wittner with matching tan leather crossbody bag from Elk via the delightful Mott & Mulberry boutique at Indooroopilly. When it came to jewellery, I donned some of my favourite silver pieces - a vintage bangle, gifted to me by my younger brother, from (sadly now defunct) 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles at Coolangatta & a stack of vintage Mexican bangles from some dear friends who live abroad to complete the smart-casual weekend-backyard-party look.

A few little snaps to make you feel happy... Frolicking in the garden with a certain furry interloper on a sunny day (oddly rare in South East Queensland these days) wearing the stunning Night Shadow floral cotton tiered midi dress with shirred bodice from vintage-inspired label Kitten D'Amour, a pair of tan leather & elastic sandals from Wittner for the ideal fusion of comfort & style & a tan vinyl & light wood crossbody bag that I discovered at the delightful Soul Nook Collective in the Old Church at Marburg to complete the look.
