Ladies' Day

Posing in the blazing sunshine of Brisbane's King George Square during the last Queensland heatwave of 2016 wearing a gorgeous striped & floral organza fit-to-flare dress with modified sweetheart neckline & tapered straps from Anthea Crawford, pink leather strappy heels with back (tasseled!) zippers from Wittner, monochrome speckled shoulder bag with silver chain strap from Nine West, chunky silver Guess watch & finally, an armful of stacked "evil eye talisman" bracelets from Ahmet's Turkish Restaurant in Southbank.

There's nothing like playing tourist in your city! Scroll down to see how we spent the rest of our day... exploring the recently renovated City Hall, visiting the celebrated Museum of Brisbane exhibits, filling up on delicious Asian fare at the Dumpling Republic in the Wintergarden (behind the steel butterfly wall) & enjoying a leisurely latte & Greek honey biscuit at Mondial Cafe underneath the historic Royal Albert Hotel, built in 1913...
