So excited to share all the bright & happy pictures from a morning spent celebrating my younger brother's birthday with "a trip down memory lane" in the form of McDonalds breakfast! When Louis was small, his birthday usually fell during our two week stay at the Gold Coast & we would always have breakfast at the McDonalds overlooking Greenmount beach before heading back to the unit we were staying in to open presents & put on our swimming togs for a dip before the day got far too hot. With all of the social distancing required in 2020, it seemed like the perfect time to spend the morning just the five of us before heading out to combined family dinner with my cousin (born two days later, a few years after...) at a later time.

For the occasion, I donned a bright & breezy printed organic linen bubble smock dress from funky Aussie label Gorman that I styled up with a pair of cream, white, orange & green Camper rubber "surf sandals" from online footwear emporium Styletread, a handmade rainbow knitted handbag with fringing from a little hippie store on Etsy & finally, a gorgeous vintage beaded Chinese necklace that some dear friends gave me for Christmas that provided the perfect finishing touch to the entire look.

Yup, that's the same face that I have when reading the back of some of his books, Jennie...
