I'm so excited to share all the pictures from a morning spent exploring historical Ipswich City, attending a fashion event in the morning before enjoying a quick browse around some of my favourite vintage stores before practically inhaling a chai latte from one of little laneway coffee shops & finishing up by checking out the Ipswich Art Gallery, particularly their latest traveling exhibition - "Art in Conflict." For the occasion, I wore a striking red guipure lace midi-length dress with puff sleeves, deep v-neckline & wide waistband with buttons through the bodice from David Jones' own label. I styled it up with a pair of comfortable yet stylish tan suede pointy-toed mules from Wittner, a floral calico shoulder bag in shades of tan, black & white with brown leather strap & brass hardware from the beautiful Embers & Twine boutique, a twisted vintage brass bangle from America on one wrist that I found many, many years ago at a Way We Wore vintage clothing event in the River City, a thin, brushed brass bangle from Tree of Life on the other & a chunky brass & onyx cocktail ring on my finger (also from my local Tree of Life store) to complete the look.

Scroll down to see how the day unfolded...

Can't resist a mirror selfie!
