I'm so elated to finally be sharing all of the beautiful pictures from a day spent wandering around Brisbane City with my mother, stopping at the St Stephens Cathedral precinct for a quick glimpse of the outside of the Church & its beautiful, peaceful surroundings (guided tours wouldn't resume for another fortnight) followed by a spot of browsing around our favourite department stores & boutiques & lunch at a Yum Cha place that I've been drooling over for quite some time, the delightful Longtime Dining in Queens Plaza... which absolutely did not disappoint! We'll definitely be back - not only to take the guided tour of the inside of the historical Church & marvel at its divine stained glass windows but to indulge in some more delicious Yum Cha in a beautiful setting with exemplary customer service & second-to-none fare.

Taking a moment to snap a few pictures on one set of historic Cathedral steps wearing this utterly darling lilac guipure lace dream dress with sweet velvet ribbon straps (altered by me) from "girly" fashion brand Review, a pair of mauve vegan leather deco heels from Kitten D'Amour with a very slight glittery sheen that makes them look & feel that little bit extra special & a natural woven straw crossbody bag from my local Target store to dress the look "down" for daytime as well as carry all the essentials including hand sanitizer & face mask. When it came to jewellery, I donned some new favourites that some dear friends gifted me from funky Australian label Mimco - a rose gold watch with blush leather band, rose gold & crystal bangle, large rose gold & crystal cocktail ring & small square rose gold & crystal pinkie ring to complete the look. For those who are wondering, my amazing red resin sunglasses - featured in the first two selfies - are also from Review & are called the "Audrey" after Audrey Hepburn, which is just so ideal.
