All dressed up on a rather hot & humid day in South East Queensland on a trip to see the new "Air" exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) in Southbank's cultural precinct with my parents followed by a leisurely lunch at Ahmet's Turkish Restaurant in the Parklands... sitting inside where the air conditioning is, of course...

I'm attempting to beat the heat along the boardwalk in a stunning cream & yellow floral cotton voile tiered maxi dress with shirred bodice, tie straps & a rope & shell belt from celebrated Australian designer Zimmermann, blue leather bow sandals from a label called Isabella that I discovered at Tides Boutiques in Burleigh Heads & have already had to have the heels resoled despite only wearing them 3 times (shoutout to Hallelujah Shoe Repair in the middle of Brisbane City for doing such an amazing job for a nominal price) for a modicum of height on my five foot frame in addition to a pop of vibrant colour, a natural woven straw crossbody bag from my local Target store to carry all the essentials including a facemask & hand sanitiser while still maintaining a beachy, boho vibe & finally, a pair of cream resin cat's eye sunglasses from Ghanda Clothing to complete the look when it was much, much too hot to even contemplate wearing jewellery.

Always love the ambiance inside Ahmet's Turkish Restaurant... after so many years & so many wonderful meals, it just feels almost like a home away from home... both joyful & peaceful...
