Breaking more than one of the so-called "fashion rules" with this amazing ensemble... Fashion pundits often say that navy & black should never be worn together, but I wholeheartedly disagree & the case in point is this stunning navy textured jacquard drop-waist midi dress from "girly" Australian label Review that I've cinched in with a beautiful black embellished organza obi belt from Sacha Drake & donned a pair of black leather & elastic strappy heels from Jo Mercer for a modicum of height. If that wasn't enough, I've then decided to really "push the boat out" by breaking the "blue & green should never be seen" rule by adding a pair of funky green resin sunglasses from Cotton On & a green diamante hairclip from Lady Jayne that I picked up at my local Terry White Chemist to complete the look. Just goes to show that when it comes to fashion, it pays to listen to your own instincts & just have fun with it...
