Avid readers of this blog will already know how much I adore floral prints of every colour & size & on any fabric so won't be surprised that I actually audibly gasped when I saw this absolutely stunning dark floral chiffon maxi dress with empire-line bodice, ruffled hemline & velvet tie straps (additional grosgrain ones added by me) from whimsical British label Sister Jane's premium diffusion line, Dream Sister Jane. It was the ideal little number to wear to a recent theatre performance concerning Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous deerstalker-wearing super sleuth & as such, I styled it up with a pair of black vegan leather dual buckle heels & boxy, natural woven straw handbag with black leather strap & black resin beaded handle from vintage-inspired design house Kitten D'Amour & some of my most beloved silver jewellery pieces - a circular tribal cuff from Najo & chunky art deco style wave hinged bangle both from the delightful ladies at Precious Stones Jewellers in the Myer Centre - to complete the look.
