That Fresh Hair Feeling

Getting a little bit zany with those "fresh hair feelings" after a lovely cut & colour at Krop Hair with the delightful Shabana. I'm wearing a sweet green broderie cotton dress from David Jones' own brand, a brown vinyl handbag (only strap to be seen) from Soul Nook Collective in Marburg & a Christmas brooch in the shape of Mickey Mouse's ears from my local Target store's recent Disney collaboration...

Getting my hair cut today & thinking about what I wore last time I went for a trim at my beloved Krop Hair with the lovely & talented Shabana... For some reason (let's call it Lockdown Brain) I forgot to post all the pictures of this bright & breezy ensemble - a stunning kaleidoscope-print chiffon maxi dress with puff sleeves, tie neckline & soft satin lining from celebrated Australian designer Anthea Crawford, a vibrant pink wool knitted cardigan with rolled collar from Witchery to ward off the chill in the air, a pair of black leather pointy-toed heels with elastic ankle straps from Wittner & finally, a black vinyl & woven satin shoulder bag from Country Road to carry all the essentials including the obligatory mask & hand sanitizer.

Heading out for lunch at one of my all-time favourite places, Shinobi Ramen (after having my art deco style bob haircut freshly chopped & coloured by the lovely Shabana at Krop Hair) wearing a gorgeous floral polyblend tiered midi dress from Aussie "cool girl" label Sheike, cropped black knitted cardigan from Review, pattern-mixed blush pink calf hair brogues with handpainted eyes all over from Rollie Nation via Milu boutique in James Street & a black leather shoulder bag from funky store Pigeonhole to carry all the essentials.

Fresh Chop

Dress: Anthea Crawford neoprene
Cardigan: Review knit
Ankle Boots: Pertini via TK Maxx leather, studs, buckles
Cardigan Clips: Gift, Colette by Colette Hayman gold & glitter

There's nothing better than the feeling of good haircut, am I right?! Here are some pictures of my new bob that, in all honesty, I had actually forgotten about for a few months but thought I'd share with you all because as far as I'm concerned, the outfit is pretty darn awesome, not least thanks to the amazing silver studded black leather biker boots with multiple buckles from Pertini that I picked up from local TK Maxx store. I'm wearing the boots with a gorgeous "seaflower" printed neoprene midi dress from Anthea Crawford (the ideal weight for the cooler months in Queensland), cropped black knitted cardigan from "girly" Aussie label Review & some funky glittered hairclips that I requisitioned as retro-style cardigan brooches from Colette by Colette Hayman, gifted to me by my aunt for my birthday.

And from the back...
