Sharing all the pictures from a leisurely birthday lunch celebrating our wonderful matriarch. As usual, we dined at one of our favourites, Hunter & Scout in Graceville & relished the opportunity to spend some quality family time together in this busiest of festive seasons. For the occasion, I wore the funky & fabulous Pelicano Citrus Bloom Ruffle Mini Dress from Aussie designer label Aje with its vibrant large-scale floral print, cool & comfortable cotton fabrication, deep v-neckline, leg-baring hem & bonkers oversized ruffle (the best feature if you ask me!) as well as a pair of chunky black leather heels with oversized buckles from Jo Mercer for added height, a boxy black vinyl handbag from French Connection to carry all the essentials & finally, for that modicum of daytime shine, a thick silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop & matching thin silver hinged bangle from Oxfam Shop that I've now had for more than twenty years & love as much as the day I bought it to wear to my year 12 formal.
