Another day, another festive shopping trip with the ones I love! This time, a leisurely look around Brisbane City's famed Wintergarden before heading over to Longtime Yum Cha (one of our favourite haunts) & finishing the day with a cheeky coffee at the new Uptown at the top of the Queen Street Mall. For the occasion, I wore a gorgeous black floral guipure lace sheath dress with midi length hemline, mauve satin lining & black beaded detailing from Aussie designer Anthea Crawford, a pair of black vegan leather strappy Mary Jane heels with matching natural woven straw handbag with black resin beaded handle from retro-inspired label Kitten D'Amour to carry all the essentials with a black organza scarf from funky That Shop - missing you at Paddington, ladies! - tied around the handle for added flourish. When it came to jewellery, I chose some favourite silver pieces that my parents have gifted me from the delightful ladies at Precious Stones Jewellers - a chunky, arto deco inspired wave-shaped hinged bangle & Najo tribal cuff... one one each wrist to complete the look.

Joyfully sharing all the pictures from recent mother/daughter shopping trip in Brisbane City, browsing all of our favourite stores (particularly in The Wintergarden, where these photographs were quickly snapped) before heading over to the delightful Longtime Yum Cha for a delicious, leisurely lunch together in their beautiful surrounds. For the occasion, I wore this absolutely stunning blue floral silk burnout midi-length wrap dress with jersey slip from Brisbane designer Sacha Drake, styled up in a slightly different way to what I did on a recent day out (check out the blog post here) with a pair of black vegan leather round-toe t-bar heels with buttons & bows from retro-inspired label Kitten D'Amour, a natural woven straw & black leather handbag from Witchery to carry all the essentials, a brushed silver cuff from Wallace Bishop that I've had for at least 15 years & a vintage silver bangle from 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles that was given to me by my younger brother on the one wrist & a stack of handpainted wooden art nouvea style bangles that a dear friend painted especially for me on the other.

Finally sharing all the pictures from a glorious mother/daughter shopping morning in the River City's Queen Street Mall followed by a delicious lunch with my younger brother at Longtime Yum Cha! For the occasion, I wore an utterly divine black, blush & gold floral silk burnout wrap dress with black jersey slip from Australian label Sacha Drake styled up with a pair of black vegan leather dual buckle heels & natural woven handbag with black beaded handle from retro-inspired label Kitten D'Amour, a stack of vintage Mexican silver bangles that some dear friends brought back from overseas, a single hinged bangle in the shape of an art deco wave that I my parents gave me as a birthday gift a few years ago that was sourced from the delightful ladies at Precious Stones Jewellers in Uptown (formerly The Myer Centre) & finally, a handcarved bamboo bangle from Coastal Luxe Homewares at Mooloolaba for that bohemian finishing touch that I love so much.

Fooling around on Cloud 9...

Great food, beautiful surroundings, amazing company... it doesn't get much better than this... well, unless my father & sister-in-law were able to join us, that is!
