Finally posting all the gorgeous pictures of the outfit I wore to attend a fairytale ballet performance as part of a dear friend's birthday celebrations. For the occasion, I decided to dress as an homage to my all-time favourite tale, Cinderella with this absolutely stunning cream satin & tulle mini dress with black floral embroidery, lace trim & velvet bows from Kitten D'Amour, black bird-embroidered velvet opera coat with fringing details from Taking Shape to ward off the slight chill in the air, glittery silver pointy-toed heels with ankle straps from Wittner & a boxy black suede handbag with oversized silver handles from French Connection to carry all the essentials. Jewellery was kept simple yet statement-making: a matching black resin wave bangle & large rosette cocktail ring from Dinosaur Designs.

The Edge

*

Dress: Anthea Crawford stretch lace
Heels: Wittner leather with silver buckles
Hinged Bangle: Wallace Bishop silver

Finally sharing all the beautiful pictures from a morning spent with dear friends, enjoying brunch at one of our favourite places - The Edge Montville - where the food is amazing & the view is absolutely breathtaking before checking out all the little boutiques dotted up & down the street for those last minute Christmas gifts... & maybe a little something for ourselves, too! I'm wearing a sweet little monochrome butterfly-printed stretch lace dress with a v-neckline & ruffle from Anthea Crawford, paired back with edgy black leather heeled sandals from Wittner (leather handbag from Pigeonhole pictured later) & a chunky silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop to complete the low-maintenance weekend look.

The Big Breakfast

Keeping the tradition alive... each & every time we visit, I have to get an outfit picture in front of the mill wheel...

Christmas Shopping

Dress: Sacha Drake stretch bengaline
Heels: Wittner laser cut leather
Bag: Pigeonhole leather
Bangles: Tree of Life wood, thread

One of my all-time favourite Christmas activities is heading to my local shopping centre to find beautiful, memorable gifts for my loved ones. A few weeks ago, my mother & I decided to make a morning out of it, spending some time at Indooroopilly Shoppingtown marveling at the gorgeous festive decorations dotted around the centre before checking a few more presents off our list! For the occasion, I wore a stunning black & neon floral stretch bengaline dress with fabric belt from Sacha Drake, black laser cut leather heeled booties from Wittner, black shoulder bag from Pigeonhole & an armful of brightly coloured & patterned thread bangles that I picked up from a Tree of Life store many years ago.
