All dressed up to attend a recent family engagement party in a stunning floral asymmetrical midi dress with puff sleeves, elasticated neckline (can be worn on or off the shoulder) & self tie belt with gold buckle from celebrated Australian designer Aje. I've styled it up for the occasion with a pair of purple vegan leather heeled slingbacks with sweet rounded toes from funky label Gorman, a natural woven straw shoulder bag from Target to carry all the essentials (yes, the ever-present hand sanitizer & facemask), a light brass brooch in the shape of a bumble bee that I picked up from the Ipswich Art Gallery's awesome gift shop & a trio of gold & silver sparkly Indian bangles that a dear friend brought back from a trip to Asia years ago.

Re-wearing some all-time favourites from my closet for a recent anthropological lecture in the River City with a dear friend & relishing the slightly cooler late spring weather pattern we've been experiencing. For the occasion, I donned a stunning blue baroque embossed print jacquard midi dress with pencil silhouette, cold-shoulder detailing & little bows on the arms from celebrated Australian designer Anthea Crawford, a pair of 1940s-inspired black vegan leather round-toe heels with buttons & bows & a natural woven straw handbag with black resin beaded handle & black leather clasp both from Kitten D'Amour & finally, a vintage silver fleur de lis embossed silver hinged bangle that was given to me by a dear friend who is sadly no longer with us but whose legacy lives on.

I'm wearing a gorgeous floral print crepe midi dress from celebrated Australian designer Anthea Crawford, black leather lace-up heels from Jo Mercer for a modicum of height, a black textured vinyl handbag with white faux pearl handles from Review to carry all the essentials including the ever-present facemask & hand sanitizer that seem to be the hallmarks of our "new normal" & a trio of gold & silver beaded sparkly bracelets from India that a friend brought back from a trip many years ago & kindly gifted me.
