All dressed up for my birthday 80s Karaoke morning wearing this Madonna-esque pink floral lace mesh midi dress with sweetheart neckline, boned bodice & satin ribbon tie straps (added by me) & matching chunky pink patent Mary Janes with dual buckles - both from Dangerfield - that I styled up with an indigo denim jacket from my local Big W store (size down for a tighter, more cropped fit over dresses), a floral vinyl handbag from Leona Edmiston that some dear friends gave me as a Christmas present last year & some special jewellery pieces in the form of a black resin & gold hinged bangle & matching gold teardrop ring with onyx stone from Samanta Wills to complete the look.

Celebrating with a belated Mothers Day lunch of takeaway DeeDot Cafe (with homemade chocolate chip cupcakes for dessert!) when some family members returned from a recent trip to the Phillippines. Dressing for that bizarre, in-between, hot/cold weather with a gorgeous orange boat print cotton puff-sleeve mini dress with deep v-neckline from Sheike, a beige stretch microfibre slip from Myer for modesty purposes, a chunky orange & a purple knitted cardigan from my local K Mart store (check out the kids' section for chunky knits in cropped shapes) to ward off the chill in the air.
