Breezy beachside weather doesn't make for optimum photography conditions, but it didn't stop me from trying with these three gorgeous ensembles. Results of my - or should I say my weary & long-suffering personal photographer's - endeavours are below:
*
LOOK #1
Kaftan: Suzanne Grae cupro
Cardigan: La Strada mesh
Sandals: Sportsgirl jellies
Cross-Body Bag: Sportsgirl
Shell Ring: Southbank Markets
Hat: Emerson @ Big W
*
Braving the wind near the site of the old Jack Evan's Porpoise Pool at Snapper Rocks in a mirrored tropical print kaftan & mesh tie-front cardigan with my ever-present jellies & iridescent cross-body bag front & centre.
*
LOOK #2
Dress: RTM chiffon
Cardigan: Leaf mesh
Sandals: Corelli @ Williams lace-up
Cross-Body Bag: Oxfam leather
Necklace: Katies silver & shell
Bangle: Wallace Bishop silver & elastic
Ring: Spirit's Gift silver & shell
*
Heading to lunch in a tribal print chiffon draped-side smock with a ballerina-style tie-front mesh cardigan to ward off the chill in the air. Bringing in "beachy" elements with a silver & shell necklace & ring.
*
LOOK #3
Dress: Jacqui E poly-blend
Kimono: Rockmans chiffon
Sandals: Portland
Hinged Bangle: Adorne
*
Taking time out on the balcony in a silky, poly-blend shift with a ruffled collar & printed chiffon draped kimono. Such a busy print needs minimal embellishment, so accessories have been kept to a minimum with black patent & elastic sandals & an Indian-style hinged bangle to "play up" the tribal aspect of the kimono pattern.
