Posing up a storm in my younger brother's lush front garden before lunch at Oishii Sushi Bar, wearing a stunning cobalt blue corded lace A-line dress from Anthea Crawford, funky speckled leather lace-up sandals from Novo & carrying a boxy stark white handbag with black piping details & silver hardware from Colette by Colette Hayman for all of the essentials.

Statement jewellery pieces completed the look - a brushed silver cuff from Wallace Bishop (engraved inside with the words "All You Need Is Love"), repurposed or upcycled vintage fork cuff from Gone Dotti at The Southbank Markets & a chunky bracelet with navy & white "Girl with Ponytail" cameo from Karen Walker Jewellery, gifted by some dear friends as an early birthday present. Heading to the City for an appointment in a vibrant, large-scale rose-printed satin 1950s style fit-to-flare dress from Anthea Crawford, tan suede sandals with fringing from Novo & matching vinyl tote bag with gold hardware from Colette by Colette Hayman. Tribal gold jewellery pieces - a wrap bangle from a dear friend working in Tunisia & a large, circular textured gold ring from my local Lovisa store - finished the look.

Set for some shopping at the newly revamped Indooroopilly Shoppingtown in a floral satin 1950s style fit-to-flare with box pleats & grosgrain ribbon (tied in a bow at the back) from new season Anthea Crawford, black laser-cut lace-up heeled sandals from Novo & cherry red vinyl handbag from Nine West... an early birthday present from my parents! Jewellery was minimal - a pair of chunky "wrapped" silver cuffs given to me at Christmastime by a dear friend; one with a modified "snail shell" & one with a modified "flower" design interspersed with coloured beads & diamantes.

"Joe Cool" for the car ride in a pair of clear resin sunglasses from Bright Eyes...
