For avid readers of this blog, it's no secret that I absolutely adore the whimsical & statement-making dresses from girly British "cult classic" label Sister Jane & this adorable clear organza midi smock, embroidered with sweet yellow flowers & with a ruffled waistline & white satin slip underneath for modesty is no exception! Although the full range is not available to shop in-store in Oz just yet - although you can check out a curated selection in Hummingbird the Shop if you live in the Brisbane area - there are plenty of places to purchase online, such as the Sister Jane online store, Shopbop & even Asos... It was the ideal choice for a recent fashion event in my beloved River City (before the "Big Chill" set in) & I happily styled it up with a pair of black leather & elastic strappy heels from Jo Mercer to give it some edge, carried a black leather & natural woven straw handbag from Witchery to make sure that I had all my essentials (hand sanitizer, face mask, wallet & phone among other things) close at hand & added some funky vintage horn jewellery pieces to finish the look - a thick, molded cuff & ombre twist bangle from New Farm Antiques (gifted for birthdays past) & a more delicate, deco-inspired carved snake bangle from some dear friends overseas.
