Finally sharing some beautiful pictures from a morning spent at Southbank Parklands in the early autumn sunshine. I'm wearing a gorgeous blue & pale pink floral jacquard fit-to-flare midi dress from vintage-inspired Aussie label Review, a pair of pale pink leather lace-up heels with pointy-toes from Wittner, a pale pink vinyl crossbody bag with gold hardware from Forever New, a large natural woven straw tote bag from Oh Jo Jo Boutique to hold all the essentials while adding a touch of boho luxe & a gorgeous gold & blue/black resin bangle covered in pictures of fashionable shopaholics in Paris by renowned Australian artist Megan Hess to complete the look.

So excited to be finally sharing all the photographs from a morning spent immersed in the Margaret Olley: A Generous Life exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) at Southbank. The multi-faceted showcase features more than one hundred eclectic works by one of Australia's most beloved painters while celebrating her eccentric life & legacy as an artist, mentor, muse, donor & passionate collector.

For the occasion, I was inspired by Margaret's trail-blazing creativity to wear something that was, quite frankly, completely "out of the box" & different from my usual style - a fawn-coloured, vegan leather midi dress with pin-tucked bust area, puffy sleeves & silver zipper (reminiscent of Myrna Loy's wardrobe in "The Thin Man" films of the 1930s) from avant garde diffusion line, Asos Design, black perforated leather peep-toe booties from Wittner, black suede boxy handbag with oversized silver handles from French Connection to carry all the essentials, a chunky maple wood watch from Montville Woods Gallery & a silver, art-deco-inspired hinged bangle from Precious Stones Jewellers.

Nothing like finishing the morning with a juicy burger for lunch at Brooklyn Depot...
