Another day, another set of beautiful pictures from family birthday celebrations! On this occasion - a little before Easter - we were sharing a leisurely meal together at our local leagues club for my father's birthday before heading back home for cake & presents. For this smart-casual event, I wore a stunning green & blue textured embroidered cotton midi-length shift dress from Australian cult label Gorman, styled up with a pair of tan leather ankle strap sandals from Rilassare that I picked up from Obsession Shoes at the "top of town" in Ipswich for the ideal fusion of comfort & style as well as a vintage tan tooled leather handbag from the 1960s that was purportedly at the famous Woodstock music folk festival (be still my little hippie-loving heart!) to carry all the essentials. When it came to jewellery, I chose some favourite pieces in the form of a stack of vintage Mexican silver bangles that some dear friends brought back from a trip overseas, a brushed silver cuff from Wallace Bishop that was a birthday present many years ago now & a sweet little newbie - a beaded bracelet with crucifix & tassel from the lovely Ember & Twine boutique for a touch of colour.

Finally sharing all the gorgeous pictures from Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day... as well as a few other snippets from the 2025 festive season that you may have missed if you don't happen to follow me on Instagram! Getting ready to celebrate with a drink of something sparkly & the company of those I hold dear, I'm all dressed up for Christmas Eve in this stunning large-scale burgundy & blush floral (a slight variation on the traditional "red & green") twill strapless fit-to-flare midi dress from City Chic, styled with a pair of gold metallic leather strappy heels from Bressley that were discovered at the delightful Obsession Shoes at the "top of town" in Ipswich that provided me with a modicum of height while still being extremely comfortable, a kitschy burgundy tin in the shape of a handbag with gold handles & pictures of Nutcrackers & the words "Season's Greetings" from Silly Solly's at Coolangatta to carry all the essentials & finally, a black leather & blush semi-precious stone choker necklace that was given to me by some dear friends to complete the look.

Finally sharing all of the sweet pictures from a recent family celebration dinner at one of our favourite local places, where the vibe is pretty chilled & there's tasty fare & live music on Saturday nights... not to mention gorgeous fairy lights in the trees outside! For the occasion, I styled up my dream fairycore mauve, purple & green floral jacquard mini smock dress with oversized bow neckline & soft satin lining from British label Sister Jane's premium diffusion line, Dream Sister Jane with a pair of black patent & matte leather heeled loafers with tassels by a Pitillos that I picked up at the amazing Obsession Shoes at the "top of town" in Ipswich, a pair of black 40 denier nylon tights from Razzamatazz (stylist tip: I like to go with the X Tall style despite being only 5 foot for comfort in the Queensland weather) to keep my legs feeling toasty, a funky leather & upcycled animal print crossbody bag from Hive Marketplace to carry all the essentials & finally, a delicate gold bangle from Lovisa for that touch of evening shine.

Starting off strong with a Gin Fizz cocktail...

Can't resist a mother/daughter selfie...

Always room for dessert... especially washed down with a piping hot latte!
