I'm so elated to finally be sharing all of the pictures of the seriously funky ensemble that I styled up to attend a Carnival/Circus themed Christmas party in my beloved River City! To begin, I donned this stunning rose print organza tiered mini dress with ruffled v-neckline from Scandinavian label Ganni & a pair of black vegan leather dual buckle heels from retro-inspired brand Kitten D'Amour & then added a bright red & black spotted organza ruffled collar & cuffs with matching cardboard party hat from online event-wear emporium Costume Box for a touch of pattern mixing & finished the look with a chunky silver & garnet cocktail ring that was kindly gifted to me. Personally, I think of the look as Circus-Acrobat-Lady-Beetle (my favourite of all beetles) & I absolutely ADORE it. To be honest, it certainly made many people smile at the event (where attendees were treated to a plethora of carnival games including a duck shooting gallery, balls in the clowns' mouths game & strength tester as well as a circus performance using holograms instead of animals & sweet treats including the traditional fairy floss & toffee apples.

Aside from the "celestial" costume that I wore prior to Halloween that I detailed on yesterday's post, my actual costume for All Hallows Eve was this stunning ballerina-inspired ensemble, based around this gorgeous blush pink & gold heart glitter mesh midi dress with a drop waist, peplum detailing, ruffled neckline & floaty sleeves from whimsical British label Sister Jane, styled up with a pair of soft gold vegan leather deco heels from Kitten D'Amour for a modicum of height, a blush pink velvet knot bag from online emporium Shein to carry all the essentials, gold & silver sparkly Indian bangles that a dear friend gave me years ago & finally, a beautiful feather & diamante headpiece (on a thin piece of virtually invisible elastic) that was actually worn in a ballet performance I attended by a chorus member & was given to me backstage after the show. It's super duper special & I was so honored to wear it like the balletomane (ballet nerd) that I am.

Candy for an potential trick-or-treaters...
Try & take a lolly from the spider web basket without the ghost noticing - if you dare!

Continuing the Halloween tradition of watching "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" on the night in question. Unfortunately, it's NOWHERE to be found on conventional television channels anymore or even on streaming services like Netflix, so it was nice that YouTube came through for this Snoopy & Peanuts obsessive....

One final costume before Halloween is over for another year because... well, why not? This time, I'm all dressed up as a princess in a stunning & surprisingly heavy textured jacquard puff-sleeve midi dress from online emporium Shein in grey, purple & gold floral, a pair of soft gold vegan leather deco heels from Kitten D'Amour to give me some height to carry off such a voluminous dress, a trio of sparkly gold & silver Indian bangles & finally, the little extras that made all my "Cinderella" dreams come true from the Disney section of the "Party Store" in my local Big W store - a plastic Pumpkin Coach mini handbag & a foam & plastic princess headpiece with a tiny little hanging "glass slipper" charm! It was seriously love at first sight as Cinderella is one of my all-time favourite Disney princesses & is, in fact, part of my all-time favourite trifecta along with Belle from "Beauty & the Beast" & the original heroine Snow White.
