Leaning into the "Cottagecore" trend that you may have heard about that doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon... I'm all dressed up for an event in my beloved River City wearing this stunning floral print organza puff mini dress with white lace trim from cult label Selkie via Revolve, styled up with a pair of gold metallic leather pointy-toed heels with ankle straps from Wittner & a green vinyl crossbody bag from the delightful Oh Jo Jo Boutique at the "top of town" in Ipswich to carry all the essentials with a gold bumble bee brooch that I picked up at the Ipswich Art Gallery gift shop pinned to it for that touch of whimsy & modicum of daytime shine.

Finally sharing all the beautiful pictures from a night out at a family celebration. Once again, we headed to the amazing Botany Restaurant & Bar at Gasworks Newstead for a delicious dinner looking out the centre greenspace of the iconic, historical gas ring, where these outfit photographs were taken. To wit, I'm wearing a stunning black, purple, organge & blush floral print linen/silk set - a cropped three-quarter-sleeve top with high neckline & bow-tie back & a long, fluted maxi skirt with bow tie detailing on the waistline - from cult cool-girl Australian label Sheike, a pair of black matte leather pointy-toed heels with raised stitching details from Wittner for a modicum of height (& to keep my toes warm in this cooler weather!) & a natural woven straw handbag with black leather top from Witchery to carry all the essentials. When it came to jewellery, I wore some special pieces from a dear friend's amazing & eclectic Etsy vintage boutique, Beautiful Pangea - a vintage wooden cream, brown & purple beaded long necklace with wooden carved African animals, a pair of carved wooden animal bangles on one wrist & a trio of thin, carved wooden bangles on the other - to complete the look.

Easing into all the Halloween vibes with this gothic ensemble, styled up to attend a recent performance of Bram Stoker's Victorian masterpiece "Dracula" in my beloved River City. I'm wearing a stunning black & red three-dimensional floral embroidered mesh midi dress with attached elastane slip & satin obi belt from Australian designer Sacha Drake, a pair of black matte leather pointy-toed booties from Wittner for a modicum of height & a vintage black beaded handbag from a little Etsy boutique called Pookie & Ness (gifted by some dear friends) to carry all the essentials. When it came to accessories, I certainly made the choice to dress to the theme with a pair of bright, blood-red ruched satin long opera gloves from That Shop & a circular chrome & resin cocktail ring depicting the Virgin Mary that was part of a Christmas gift from friends a few years ago now to complete the look.
