Winter is Queensland is an ideal time for road trippin' & spending time in the Great Outdoors; the mild weather keeping things comfortable (for a change!) in the "Sunshine State." Thursday was one of those amazing days, so we headed to Tamborine Mountain to soak up the free-spirited atmosphere of the Gallery Walk.

This psychedelic printed jersey dress from Anthea Crawford - with its three-quarter sleeves, slight v-neckline & empire-line twist detail - was the perfect mix of classic silhouette, comfortable fabric & relaxed bohemianism. Check it out in all its glory, sans jacket, below:

The dip in temperature up on the mountain meant that a jacket was required & this white, furry option from Lyla & Co @ Big W emphasised the hippie-esque vibe I was going for while keeping me "toasty."

Jewellery was kept minimal - a chrome & paua shell brooch & bracelet combination that a dear friend brought back as a souvenir of New Zealand. The swirling colours of the shell matched the print of the dress while the "Cameo" style of the brooch referenced the classic styling of the dress.

As usual, black accessories "anchored" the look - black patent wedges with ribbon laces from Ziera & a pair of 40 denier matte Razzamatazz tights to keep my legs warm. A black, cobalt blue & grey leopard print vinyl Anthea Crawford handbag - almost large enough to be called a "tote" was chosen to carry any purchases as well as all my necessities, including an awesome pair of John Lennon style sunglasses from Sportsgirl.

Finishing off the look was a stunning Felt By Vicki beret with hand-woven silk thread detail in a vibrant shade of purple. The hand-made nature means that each piece is completely unique, which I absolutely LOVE!
