Botanicals

Spent a wonderful Sunday morning (the one AFTER the Rain Event) exploring the City Botanical Gardens - & the plethora of eclectic market stalls selling everything from organic produce to gingham dresses for little girls - under an overcast sky.

Scroll down to see how it all unfolded & check out what I wore to ward off the chilly breeze...

Posing up a storm near this Egyptian-inspired sculpture in a woven floral shift dress with ruffled three-quarter sleeves by Jayson Brunsdon Black Label at Myer, black puffer vest by Emerson at Big W (purchased last year & worn multiple times despite proclaiming that I would never EVER put anything even remotely similar on my body, seeing as I'm only five feet tall & quite top heavy...I stand corrected!), sport luxe "creeper-style" lace-up boots with velcro straps from Forever New, 40 denier tights from Razzamatazz & a white vinyl handbag-turned-cross-body with silver hardware from Colette by Colette Hayman. Jewellery was kept simple yet effective with a trio of metal & woven twine bangles from Reiss Emporium to continue the subtle 1960s vibe.
