So excited to share all the gorgeous pictures from a Friday morning spent exploring beautiful Bulimba with the family on the last day of winter! Bulimba really is a beautiful suburb of Brisbane - close to the river with beautiful breezes, full of tree-lined streets with a mix of historical homes & architectural new-builds, filled with eclectic little clothing, accessories & homewares boutiques & quaint little coffee shops & restaurants, including a funky bar/pub called Oxford 152 where we ended up grabbing some lunch... & dessert, of course.
Dressing for the cooler mornings turning into warmer days can be difficult but I think I've pretty much cracked it with this sweet little ensemble, based around this amazing spotted linen mini smock dress with three quarter sleeves, ruffled collar & cuffs, tiered hemline & drawstrings from Zimmermann that I think will get a lot of wear in the springtime. After layering a black elastane slip from Taking Shape underneath for warmth, I added a pair of black laser-cut leather heeled sandals from Wittner (ideal for this time of the year with their closed-in design) & carried a matching matte leather handbag from Pigeonhole for all the essentials. Jewellery was simple yet made a statement - an edgy black resin "wave" bangle & "flower" ring from celebrated Aussie label Dinosaur Designs.
