Avid readers of this blog will already be aware of my deep & abiding love of jumpsuits... they're one piece for easy styling & as comfortable as a dress... until you have to go to the toilet, that is, but that's an issue for another day... This particular number - the Guru Jumpsuit from Boom Shankar - is one of my all time favourites due to its beautiful blue, white & green Indian floral print, the soft cotton fabric that's so cool & breezy on a hot summer day, the cropped "bloomer" style pants that elongate the frame of a five-foot-nothing shortie like me & most of all, the seriously awesome drawstring neckline which not only looks boho & uncomplicated with the tie strap but is super duper simple when getting in & out of the suit itself! I've styled it up for a warm & sunny day running errands at my local shopping precinct with a pair of vintage-inspired, green faux snakeskin vegan leather sandals & matching handbag from kitschy Aussie label Princess Highway & even used the extra piece of fabric that came with the jumpsuit for potential use as a tie belt as a pop of colour & print around the bag's handle for a cohesive look with minimal moving parts.

Scroll down to see more, including a certain little feline interloper who currently seems to be "broadening her horizons" by spending more & more time outside in the early afternoons, exploring the succulents in the garden & keeping a watchful eye on the inter-generational family of blue fairy wrens the live in the lush, full hedge behind me...*

*please note that my feline friend is extremely clumsy & can in no way get even close the fairy wrens in order to catch/eat any of them... there is absolutely no chance at all... they literally fly around her & then sit up in the trees & chirp as though they're laughing at her attempts...
