Sending all the love & positive vibes to those who have been affected by the devastating flooding/storm/rain event in South East Queensland we've experienced over the last week. Here are some darling Valentines Day pictures - taken a fortnight before this so-called Big Wet began - taken in one of my all-time favourite spots in the middle of my hometown, the historical Queens Park Glasshouse Formal Garden, established in the 1930s before being lovingly restored in the 1990s by a team of volunteers & too high above the mighty Bremer River to be impacted by rising floodwaters.

For these blissful photographs, I'm wearing a super sweet heart-embroidered jacquard mini smock dress with divine little puff sleeves & a pearl button at the back of the neckline from whimsical British label Sister Jane, a pair of funky purple vegan leather slingback heels from hipster/enviro label Gorman for a modicum of height, a natural woven straw handbag from my local H&M store to carry all the essentials & an armful of stacked wooden bangles, beautifully hand-painted with art nouvea motifs, that were gifted to me by a dear friend & provided the perfect finishing touch to the look.

Scroll down to see a little more as the sun began to peek through the clouds...
