Finally sharing all of the glorious pictures from a day spent exploring the annual Ipswich Show's 150th Anniversary with an extravaganza of high octane fun & games, sideshow alley, food trucks of all descriptions, showbags, historical exhibits & oddities, farm animals including the ever-popular sheep dog round up, cultural displays including school work from a variety of educational institutions from childcare centres to primary schools, high schools & even TAFE, talent shows, miniatures, dolls & bears, baking & jam making competitions, agricultural & gardening arrangements, sewing & crochet & quilting... all showcasing the very best that our wonderful town has to offer!

For the occasion - & these hilarious pictures where I'm posing with Hot Wheels trucks modeled after the characters from Disney's Cars franchise - I'm wearing a bright & beautiful purple & green floral viscose puff sleeve midi dress with elasticated waist, buttons running down the bodice & a thick, 1960s style belt from Aussie label Review, a moss green knitted cardigan from Target to ward off the slight chill in the air, a pair of white leather sneakers with black patent stripes from Adidas for the ideal fusion of comfort & style & a black nylon crossbody bag with vinyl detailing from Nautica to hold all the essentials (face mask & hand sanitizer) while keeping my hands free. When it came to jewellery, I chose a few favourites - a vintage silver bangle from 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles that my younger brother gave me for my birthday a few years ago & a stack of vintage Mexican silver bangles that some dear friends sent from overseas to complete the look.

Scroll down to see how all the frivolity unfolded...
