Finally sharing all the pictures from a school holiday morning spent traipsing around Rosewood with my cousin & her two rambunctious munchkins, stopping at the amazing Rosewood Bakery before heading to Johnston Park for a peruse of the fibreglass dinosaur statues & a play on the equipment under the shade of the trees before walking a few minutes to the Cobb & Co Heritage Park to check out the stagecoach display & finishing off with a scenic drive to Caledonian Park in Thagoona for a swing in the sunshine.
For the occasion, I kept it simple & uncomplicated in a 3 piece ensemble - a beautiful dark floral cotton midi dress with shirred bodice, puff sleeves & tiered hemline from Australian fashion stalwart Witchery, a pair of recycled denim & rubber high top sneakers from Converse to keep my feet warm & a black nylon & vinyl crossbody bag from Nautica to carry all the essentials while keeping my hands free for munchkin wrangling & bakery treat eating!
Scroll down to see how it all unfolded...
Nothing hits the spot like old fashioned bakery treats washed down with a piping hot chai latte in good company...
Sometimes the oldest rides on the playground are the best...
Immersed in the history of the region...
The childlike joy of swinging on a swing in the sunshine truly never gets old, does it?
