Finally sharing all of the pictures of this utterly stunning vintage colour-blocked pink, red & blue dupione silk drop-waisted 1980s-does-1920s dress by Australian designer Sally Browne that I picked up from the New Farm Antiques Centre, taken at one of my all-time favourite haunts in the historical town of Ipswich, the Orchid Society Greenhouse at Queens Park where the plants & flowers have begun blooming for springtime! I've styled up the dress with a pair of shiny black patent pointy-toed booties from Wittner for a modicum of height, a vintage 1990s black beaded handbag with pink floral embroidery from Sage Moon Vintage to carry all the essentials & finally, added a long, glass beaded necklace from the 1960s (gifted by a dear friend & discovered at a sweet little boutique on Etsy) to complete the look.
Scroll down to see more of the gorgeous photographs, taken in amongst the beauty of the greenhouse & the natural wonders contained within...
When your dress perfectly matches the flowers in the hedge outside, there's really only one thing to do... & that's pose beside it!
