Casual & comfortable in a matching set from Target's amazing summertime selection - pure French linen top & paper-bag-waist shorts in a beautiful shade of emerald green, styled up with a pair of gladiator sandals from Blowfish via Williams Shoes & a black woven straw shoulder bag to carry all the essentials.

Dainty in white lace for a performance of "Picnic at Hanging Rock" with a dear friend. This stunning midi dress is from Australian designer Maiocchi & is styled up with a pair of pink leather lace-up heels from Jo Mercer & a 1960s tooled leather shoulder bag that some dear friends gave me for Christmas a few years ago, a vintage silver bangle from 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles (formerly of Coolangatta, now Tweed Heads) & a stack of vintage Mexican silver bangles to complete the look.

A few quick snaps on my way to an amazing event! I'm showcasing this utterly divine blue floral organza pleated maxi dress from Australian designer label Aje, worn with a pair of tan & silver leather lace-up heels from Jo Mercer for height, a natural woven straw pouch bag with diamantes from Oh Jo Jo Boutique at the "Top of Town" in Ipswich & a stunning matching glass swirl beaded necklace & bracelet from the delightful Beautiful Pangea to complete the look.

Out for a leisurely catch-up dinner at Char'd with a dear friend wearing a sweet blue & white floral cotton/linen mini dress from Sheike with white satin cowl-neck camisole beneath for modesty purposes (from my local Forever New store), a pair of tan leather & elastic gladiator lace-up heels from Wittner & a natural woven straw handbag with blue spot & tan leather strap from Esteem's Boutique in Coolangatta. When it came to jewellery, I chose some old favourites - a vintage silver bangle from 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles on one wrist & a stack of vintage Mexican silver bangles on the other. In case you're wondering, I ordered the Lamb & Rosemary Pie with Mashed Potato & Broccolini followed by an Ice Cream Sundae for dessert & it was amazing!

But first, coffee... Even on a hot day in downtown Ipswich, I can't resist a piping hot chai from Shortblack Coffee Co! Also can't resist a beautiful & bright Indian printed cotton maxi dress (this one is from Naudic & I found it at the wonderful Kaysuelle Fashions in Rosewood) & some fancy footwear...
