Attempting to make those weekend vibes last a little bit longer with all the beautiful pictures of a morning spent traipsing around Providence with my mother wearing the beautiful Maeli dress from Aussie slow-fashion label Ankoa. This stunning, burgundy poppy print cotton prairie dress with deep v-neckline, line of small buttons through the centre, drawstring waist, puff sleeves & tiered hemline with cream lace trim looks utterly divine styled up on a very cold morning in South East Queensland with a chunky, cream acrylic knitted cardigan from &me via Big W, a pair of black matte & patent leather ankle boots with buttons from Wittner, black 40 denier nylon tights from Razzamatazz to keep my legs warm & finally, a vinyl & quilted satin crossbody bag from Country Road to carry all the essentials.

A plate of hot chips with aioli washed down with a large chai latte from 40 West Cafe was just the ticket...

Blending in with my surroundings of these otherworldly fig trees along the gated portion of the City Botanic Gardens wearing this rather esoteric & arcane, almost-tie-dye print viscose midi dress with leg-of-mutton sleeves, highly neckline with bow back, shirred bodice & tiered hemline from Aussie designer label Morrison, styled up for an important appointment with a pair of black matte leather heeled ankle boots from Wittner for a modicum of height, black 40 denier nylon tights from Razzamatazz to keep my legs feeling toasty warm, a black 1990s-style vinyl handbag from Sussan to carry all the essentials including my ever-present mask & hand sanitizier & finally, a beautiful Victorian silver belcher bracelet with oversized filigree heart locket & teeny weeny key from (sadly now defunct) Kellie's Antiques, gifted to me by a dear friend to complete the look.

Feeling like one of my Marie Antoinette's ladies-in-waiting wearing this stunning dusky pink floral lace confection with satin lining, tiered hemline, shirred bodice & black grosgrain ribbon detailing from whimsical British label Sister's Jane's premium diffusion line, Dream Sister Jane styled up with a beautiful, handmade & handpainted cotton kimono that my brother brought me from a vintage fair a few years ago, a pair of black matte leather heeled ankle boots from Wittner for a modicum of height, black 40 denier nylon tights from Razzamatazz to keep my legs feeling toasty warm in these freezing conditions as well as a black vinyl 90s style handbag from Sussan to carry all the essentials including the ever-present mask & hand sanitizer. When it came to jewellery, I donned a vintage silver bangle from (sadly now defunct) 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles at Coolangatta & a stack of vintage Mexican silver bangles gifted to me by some dear friends before completing the look by sliding a handmade, dusky pink wool & silver hairclip from GOMA's gift shop into side of my dark bob.
