Posting all of the pictures of the amazing ensemble I wore to celebrate Chinese New Year at an exclusive luncheon in the River City on Tuesday... This deep red mesh & embroidered lace fit-to-flare dress with bright red tulle underlay (a gift from a friend currently undertaking an overseas odyssey) is STUNNING, particularly the deep "v" front neckline, high back detail & sweet "see-through" lace cap sleeves.
Silver was the colour of choice when it came to accessories - a matching glitter pair of mid-heel court shoes with pointy toes & a vintage-style clutch with silver clasp by C'est Bon, found many years ago in a sale at my local Williams the Shoemen store. Jewellery followed the same "sparkly & statement-making" vibe - a trio of silver & gold bangles with twinkling beadwork from India & intricate gold flower brooch with silver & red crystals that was given to me as a souvenir after dear friends visited Singapore recently.
