Finally posting all the pictures of the outfit I styled up for my first Autumn/Winter Fashion Show of the season... & a family dinner at one of my favourite suburban haunts, Oishii Sushi Bar, in the evening. If you've never been to this stalwart of Asian cuisine in Sunnybank, it comes highly recommended! In fact, here's a picture of the delicious Deep Fried Ice Cream with Strawberry Sauce dessert to tempt you...

But I digress.

The cooler Queensland temperatures meant that this divine "orchid" purple stretch lace dress from Anthea Crawford - with its black lining, high neckline, scooped back, three-quarter-sleeves & below-the-knee hemline - was ideal, particularly when mixed with this rocking pair of black suede, lace-up, peeptoe stiletto heels with fringed side details from Novo. Check them out below:

Rather than the more expected option of a black handbag, I carried a colourful tapestry envelope clutch from Tree of Life, made from old saris, to lend a bohemian vibe to an otherwise rather prim & proper look. Statement-making jewellery added a funky edge to the look - a pair of rose gold molded "dragon" cuffs & "sunburst" patterned ring that a dear friend gifted me for Christmas last year, as well as a "rose gold" metal tribal headpiece (also Tree of Life) that sat atop my blunt brunette bob for a touch of daytime shine.

And it didn't end there...

Completing the look with a pop of colour was this white & orange dip-dyed cotton scarf with orange embroidery & tasseled hemline from Urban Originals (found at my local Trade Secret store for under $10), wrapped nonchalantly around my neck & shoulders. Just perfect when the temperature dropped as the sun set...
