All dressed up & ready to attend a performance of the "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah on an unexpectedly cold summer morning before Christmas in my beloved River City. I'm wearing a 1930s-style, super sweet pink, white & mint large-scale floral print twill fit-to-flare midi dress from girly Australian label Review with a cute pink & white spotted knit cropped cardigan with ruffled cuffs & hemline & diamante buttons from vintage-inspired brand Kitten D'Amour to ward off the chill in the air, a pair of green vegan leather deco heels (also Kitten) for a modicum of height & a funky, heavily embellished vegan leather handbag with brass hardware from Vendula London via the delightful Mott & Mulberry boutique at Indooroopilly Shoppingtown to carry all the essentials, which unfortunately still include the ever-present facemask & hand sanitizer. When it came to jewellery, I decided to opt for a juxtaposition of hard-meets-soft with a trio of brass, silver & chrome studded bangles in various sizes from my local Tree of Life store & a matching oversized brass & onyx cocktail ring to complete the look.
