Finally sharing all the beautiful pictures from a morning spent exploring the Queensland Art Gallery with my mother before heading over to Southbank Parklands for a leisurely lunch at one of our favourite haunts, Ahmet's Turkish Restaurant. For the occasion, I wore this gorgeous large-scale floral print cotton puff-sleeve midi dress with belt from Portmans, an indigo denim 80s-style "coccoon" jacket from Australian designer Bianca Spender to ward off the slight chill in the air, a pair of black leather biker books with embroidered white "graffiti" art sketches from Wittner for the most epic fusion of style & comfort & an upcycled denim crossbody bag from Dub Denim Designs' amazing stall at the Eumundi Markets to carry all the essentials while keeping my hands free. When it came to jewellery, I chose some special silver pieces - a stack of vintage Mexican bangles that some dear friends brought back from oversease & a single, vintage silver bangle from 20th Century Antiques & Collectibles (now of Tweed Heads, formerly of Coolangatta) that my brother brought me as a birthday gift some years ago.
