Lately

All dressed up for an event in the River City wearing a stunning printed ramie top & skirt combination from Australian label Sheike, styled up with a pair of black matte leather pointy-toed booties from Wittner, a black leather & natural woven straw handbag from Witchery & matching wooden beaded & carved African animal necklace & matching bangles from the delightful Beautiful Pangea to complete the look.

Daytime sparkle & shine with this stunning floral jacquard & stretch lurex flared midi dress from Taking Shape, styled up with a navy & gold lurex cropped cardigan from Review, a pair of navy snakeskin patent leather court shoes from Florsheim & a stunning gold fashion bangle from talented illustrator (& creator of the divine Claris from Paris) Megan Hess. Heading out to visit friends wearing this sweet little green & brown floral print recycled chiffon tiered mini dress with tie belt from my local Forever New store, worn with funky athleisure recycled plastic anorak from Cotton On, a pair of tan suede pointy-toed mules from Wittner for a modicum of height, a funky vintage tooled leather shoulder bag that some dear friends gave me as a gift (apparently it's original owner took it to Woodstock!) & a fluffy scrunchie-turned-bangle from the Queensland Museum Gift Shop.

Sweet little fitting room moments at one of my favourites (Oh Jo Jo Boutique for those who might be interested) wearing a gorgeous floral cotton shirred midi dress from Witchery, suede mules from Wittner & a blue suede slouch bag from Cotton On.

Mixing prints like a pro (well, I am a stylist after all...) wearing this stunning striped cotton mini smock dress with high ruffled collar from (now defunct) label Wellington Factory & a vintage floral jacquard blazer from Paddy's Market in Ipswich. There's really no rhyme or reason as to why these two prints work together except that they both contain the colour blue & they are similar "sized" prints (large floral & large stripes). As soon as I saw them together, I knew it would work out & kept the accessories to a minimum as a result - a pair of black suede pointy-toed mules from Wittner & a natural woven straw handbag with black beaded handle from Kitten D'Amour to carry all the essentials.

When black & red combine! This gorgeous cherry embroidered cotton shirred prairie dress from Never Fully Dressed looks gorgeous styled up with a pair of black suede pointy-toed mules from Wittner, a velvet knot bag from Swinging Chicks Shop (via Etsy) with a red rose chiffon corsage clip & matching scarf (tied around my neck jauntily like it's the 1950s in Paris) from Temptations Boutique at Winston Glades.
